How do I become a member?
Your nominator and seconder must sign your form of nomination. The completed and signed membership proposal form is then processed and submitted to the committee.
Subject to committee approval, a notice of pending membership is posted to all members for comment and objections. When no objections to membership are received the committee will approve and a letter is sent to the nominee requesting payment of entrance and pro rata subscription fees. Membership is granted subject to receipt of these fees. Thereafter, your name will be added to the members roll and all privileges of the club will be granted to you.
Work colleagues, family and friends are welcome at the club provided the member ensures their accompanying guests names and addresses are entered into the members guest book on each occasion. This procedure is not necessary when guests accompany a member to a private function. When using the facilities of the club members may charge all food and beverage to their account which will be sent out on the first day of each month detailing all charges from the previous month. These monthly statement may be paid by cheque, cash, credit card or direct debit. All accounts must be settled within 30 days.
